In Harm's Way Training Materials for Health Professionals

Training materials are distributed at conferences or can be purchased through GBPSR. See the Publications page to order separately. Many materials are available in downloadable versions on this web site - see links below.

  • A Training Manual that includes:

    • An 80-slide In Harm's Way PowerPoint Presentation including speaker notes and references, on CD-ROM and in printed form, that covers the scope of the problem, potential trends, societal and personal ramifications of developmental disabilities, health effects of developmental neurotoxicants, chemical testing and exposure, and the issue of scientific proof.

    • QuestionsFrequently Asked Questions on the In Harm's Way Training Materials: The purpose of this document is to provide additional background information for presenters who wish to present the In Harm’s Way materials to a variety of audiences, and to refer presenters to reference material in the In Harm’s Way report, or in the notes and references of the In Harm’s Way 80-slide PowerPoint presentation.

    • 3 "Out of Harm's Way" fact sheets for providers and patients including:
      • Health Care Provider offers an introduction to routes of exposure to toxic chemicals, guidance on how to take an environmental health history, and suggested routine patient advice on how to prevent toxic threats.
